We are very proud of The Gaer and Maesglas Primary School Partnership, which links not only the schools, but the communities of Gaer and Maesglas. Our schools have been working collaboratively across all areas of the curriculum and are thrilled to have achieved nationally recognised awards in Nurture, Additional Learning Needs, Healthy Schools, Basic Skills, Eco-Schools and Welsh Second language. We are proud to provide an engaging and high quality education for our children.

 We believe that the schools are at the heart of their communities; happy, purposeful and successful places, where all children are encouraged to work hard and give of their best for themselves and each other. The Governing Body plays a full and active part supporting both children and staff in all aspects of school life. A range of committees meet regularly to make decisions on important aspects of school life including curriculum, staffing and finance.

Our partnership attaches a great importance to the links between home and school and welcomes visits from parents before and during your child’s time with us. We value greatly the regular contact with parents; working together will be of the greatest benefit for your child’s school life.
