Dear Parents and Carers,

We hope you are all well. This week, we are gently reminding children about the importance of keeping themselves safe in the community. As part of this, we have talked about “stranger danger” in a calm and age‑appropriate way.

Please take a moment to reinforce these simple messages at home:

  • Always stay close to a trusted adult.
  • Never go anywhere with someone they don’t know.
  • If something doesn’t feel right, move away and tell a grown‑up they trust.
  • It’s always OK to say “no” if they feel unsure.

Our aim is not to worry the children, but to help them feel confident and safe when out and about.

Thank you for your continued support.

Kind regards,
Maesglas Primary & Nursery School
