Dear Parent / Annwyl Rhiant,

Spring Half Term Break 2026

I hope that this letter finds you well.

The children have very much embraced their learning this half term; wholeheartedly trying their very best across all areas of learning. They have very much enjoyed starting their Spring Term project learning and producing Eisteddfod entries when representing their ‘House Colour’.

We look forward to celebrating the Eisteddfod ‘home learning’ creative models after the half term break. Thank you so much for supporting the children with this task. The models will be displayed in readiness for our whole school Eisteddfod on Monday 2nd March.

Gilwern Residential

I would like this opportunity to thank our Year 6 children who attended the Gilwern Residential Experience this term. The children fully embraced the experience; learning new skills and facing new challenges together. I would also like to thank our Maesglas Primary staff for both planning this opportunity and for giving their time generously to allow the children to enjoy this memorable experience.

Family Learning

Thank you to the families who have been available to attend the ‘Family Learning’ sessions, alongside their child/children already this term. It is wonderful to have so many families in school. We are very grateful for your support. The table below documents the classes scheduled for ‘Family Learning’ sessions next half term. We very much look forward to welcoming you.
